The batching plant is where the central mixer homogenously combines all the ingredients needed to produce concrete. The efficiency and productivity of batching plants vary, depending on the design and make of the plant. Citicon has a total of four batching plants. Two units – one in our flagship branch at Biñan and one in our Malvar branch – are capable of batching up to 150 m3 / hour. The remaining two units – one in our Silang branch and one being Malvar branch’s second unit – can batch up to 120 m3 / hour.

Transit mixers transport concrete from the batching plant to the site. Citicon’s fleet consists of 85 transit mixers of all sizes. Our 10 m3 and 12 m3 trucks are ideal for high-volume projects while our smaller capacity trucks of 5 m3 and 6 m3 allow us to navigate busy job sites with narrower access ways. In our fleet as well are trucks with capacities of 8 m3 and 9 m3

Concrete pumps, or pumpcretes, are equipment used for transferring freshly mixed concrete to the location at the construction site where it is needed. Without pumpcretes, these locations may be otherwise inaccessible, such as areas at great heights. Citicon can offer end-to-end concrete solutions, from design to delivery to pumping, through the 9 pumpcretes* of our sister company, Citibuilt Const. Inc. We have six boom pumps of sizes ranging from 21 meters to 38 meters. We also have three stationary or line pumps that can reach up to 200 meters, equivalent to a 60-story building.

Dump Trucks
Through our sister company Citibuilt’s 15 dump trucks, Citicon is also able to haul its own gravel, ensuring that even if crises should hit, our stockpiles never run out.
Backhoe
A backhoe is a type of excavating machine that consists of a bucket and digging arm. Our two backhoes perform various tasks for the maintenance and improvement of our batching plants.
Payloader
Payloaders are highly mobile and durable electric vehicles that carry, tow, place and generally handle materials. Citicon has a total of nine payloaders: two units of TCM 850, one unit KOM 530, one unit JH 65, two units of Long John, and three units TCM 75B. These are utilized to load raw materials into the batching plant’s aggregates bin before the aggregates are weighted and fed into the central mixer. They also help with plant maintenance and improvement.
